Friend at work is buying a house.
The home inspector failed the house because of problems like poly pipe and an old furnace.
    And rotten wood siding.

He doesn't know what to do.

He needs to talk to his realtor.
    Houses don't fail inspection.

His realtor should have ideas how to work with the sellers agent.

Is he still in his due diligence period?
that is when the repairs should be decided.
